What is safety? What is a world where all live in harmony? What is peace? What is religion, what are the fundamental lessons or guides to religion? I look around our world and I see one of such incomprehendable dualites that I sometimes find it hard to breathe. I witness, we witness every day, people of different colours, creed, countries, all fighting!! Yes fighting, on opposite sides of an invisible fence consumed with a righteousnous of what their vision comprises. So that answer must be my friend that we simply don’t know! As long as we have known and inhabited this world there has been greed, conquering, dispute!!!

We live in a crazy time and yet I believe it has always been one! Our world is vast! If ever you sit back and take a look, not a look with the eyes of nonchalance or indifference but a real look, I’m sure you would exclaim at what you see! A crazy circus full of participants all with a view of their own, all aware of how it should be yet all naturally seperated by such visions!! Across oceans and lands as far back as our historical knowledge will take us, people everywhere bow to their own gods, their own deities, all following the way of those long gone before! And yet when they look to the sky with love and hope why do they too look to their fellow man with hate and vengeance! And this is where their claim of religion builds an angry fire in my soul. The fundamental lesson in religion is that of love. Tell me please, someone, where is the love in the world we inhabit today??

All I see and hear is destruction, loss of lives, societies torn apart, families seperated!! And so what I see is Pain! Suffering. Loss. Hardship. And I see children living in a horror that should never be witnessed by the eyes of a child! When if ever shall we stand back and examine the state of our world and admit there has to be a better way? I know it shall never be in my lifetime. We as human beings believe we have some cosmic right to the rule of the earth, evident everyday in the destruction of our planet. And with our apparent inherent right comes the destruction of the societies our planet has nurtured. And we claim much if not all of it to be a necessity of survival, a survival of who we are as individual peoples, our histories all buried in our religion!!!!!!!

Love, people, love!! On an international govermental scale. Where has it gone or has it been obliterated along with the thousands of lives that leave this world through no choice of their own everyday??? Don’t bow to your god and then vote to support a war! Don't claim religious belief and then wish harm on your neighbour!! Don’t cast your war votes on the winds of religion!! Don’t insult all those simple people who believe in the essence of love!! Those who truly support and follow the meaning of what it is to be a compassionate human being!! Those who live accordingly with love emanating from their spirits and souls who flock to such war torn places to administer support and assistance to the evil a war brings upon a people! What state is Afganistan in now, and how about the infrastructure of Iraq? Are these places better than they were before ? The religious devil is no more but does a new devil not reign supreme? Has the behaviour of America in an attempt to combat these suppresive religious nazis not instated a new disorder.? America claimed freedom from oppresive leaders and security improvements overall benefiting the world and do I feel safer? NO. Is the world just as disorientated, are any more lives being lost, YES! And these are just the present day wars being waged, the money wars I suppose you could say!! What about Burma and the plight of its people? And East Timor although the newest country in the world ! , its battles are still being waged! And so many places, too numerous to mention, a world where suffering is a constant One of the few constants we can depend on! And what I ask you the reader does that tell us about what we represent? We claim a better world is the vision of the ordinary person yet really what we create are sharper cuts between the rich and the poor and a continual destruction of life and land that no law or religion ever permitted to be our right as a human!!!!!
