Submission Guide
JeSaurai is after submissions for its website and printed volume of published essays and features. We publish a collection of long essays and design, art, photography features at least once a year, and if quality demands up to 4 times a year.
This volume is a large book, in the style of a collection of new ideas and an expression of our times that can be kept and read over a period of time.
Most, if not all pieces will first appear on the website, and those that are deemed fit for printing will be put in the printed volume.
JeSaurai will share all monies made from the sale of the print edition with those published.
Format.
All submissions will be considered,.
They should be submitted in plain text format, or with minimal formatting, and should be fully edited.
Images should be min. 300dpi.
Style.
JeSaurai is looking for long (1000 word plus) thoughtful essays, interviews, inventions, insights, prose, photography, art, and science.
For interviews, give a background to your subject along with the interview. With art, photography, or design pieces please give the background of the artist/photographer and what the art is trying to say.
We also consider thought provoking poems, limericks, and any new genre you can create.
The most important thing is to be new, interesting and meaningful.
